Anna Hazare wins, to end his fast soon | Team Anna Victorious

Finally democracy has won again in India with the victory of Anna Hazare along with millions of Indians who were part of the Team Anna. This particular event will change India as much as any other major political event. On the 27th of August 2011 Parliament is expected to take a voice vote on the resolution and this will enable a stronger anti corruption bill.

Vilas Rao Deshmukh will personally take the resolution to Anna Hazare at the Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi.

Anna Hazare is expected to break his fast tomorrow morning.

Here are the points of draft circulated by the Government to political parties in Parliament on which the debate was going on in both the Loksabha and Rajya Sabha.

1) That this House resolves through an appropriate law that an effective Lokpal and state Lokayukta be set up compatible to constitutional mechanism.

2) Employees of state and Center will be brought under the purview through appropriate mechanism.

3) All government departments will have citizen's charter with a time line for the completion of any work.
